FRESH SOD. A PREPARED START.

A green lawn starts with good preparation.

Sod gives you a grass surface sooner than seeding, but it still needs time to root. We review your soil, grade, drainage, and access before defining the installation scope.

Our sod comes fresh from a sod farm. We prepare the agreed area, lay sections closely together, and fit edges around walks, beds, and borders. Reliable watering and ongoing care are essential after installation.

WHERE SOD FITS

A fresh start for the lawn you need.

New-home lawns

Install a grass surface around a new home after the agreed site preparation. Construction debris, compaction, drainage corrections, and extra topsoil are assessed and priced for your site.

Lawn replacement & bare areas

Replace worn lawn areas or finish selected bare sections. We review the conditions beneath the grass before installing fresh sod in the areas included in your estimate.

Restoration after projects

Restore areas disturbed by grading, drainage work, or landscape installation. Sod can be coordinated with the rest of your outdoor project.

FROM FARM TO PREPARED SOIL

Fresh sod, fitted to your property.

We source fresh sod from a sod farm and plan installation around the site and agreed scope. Preparation may include removing existing grass, weeds, and debris; grading and leveling; and adding or adjusting topsoil where specified.

Sod sections are placed tightly and evenly, trimmed around edges, and pressed into contact with the soil. Initial watering begins the rooting process, followed by your continuing watering and care.

If the yard needs reshaping or water collects in low areas, explore Grading & Drainage. We identify any extra preparation in the estimate.

FROM SITE REVIEW TO AFTERCARE

How we plan your sod installation.

01 / Review & prepare

We review the installation area, access, soil, grades, and drainage. The estimate identifies site preparation, topsoil, and grading where included.

02 / Install fresh sod

After the agreed preparation, we lay fresh farm sod with close seams, fit the edges, and ensure root-to-soil contact for a neat grass surface.

03 / Water & establish

Initial watering starts the establishment process. You continue watering, limit traffic, and follow aftercare guidance while roots develop.

YOUR PART IN ESTABLISHMENT

Fresh sod needs care after installation.

Arrange reliable water access before installation. You or your property manager are responsible for continued watering and lawn care. Keep the sod and underlying soil moist according to your project’s guidance, adjusting for rainfall, heat, and site conditions.

Limit foot traffic and keep equipment off the area while the sod roots. Follow the guidance provided on watering changes and the first mowing.

A green surface is the beginning, not a fully rooted lawn. Establishment depends on watering, weather, soil conditions, and ongoing care; a fixed rooting date is not guaranteed.

Sod or seed? Start with the site.

Lawn Seeding takes longer to fill in. Sod provides a grass surface sooner, but both need prepared soil, watering, and care. We can discuss the options during your estimate. Address preparation needs with Grading & Drainage and coordinate your work through Landscape Installation.
